Fall Issue of “College & Undergraduate Libraries” focuses on Assessment

If you have some time to catch up on professional readings this month, consider delving into the Fall 2013 issue of College & Undergraduate Libraries, entitled “Proving Value and Improving Practice: Assessment Strategies for the Small Academic Library”. This entirely assessment-focused issue features articles on using assessment results to forge campus partnerships; assessment of information literacy in the first-year curriculum; developing an academic library assessment plan; assessing the effectiveness of online information literacy tutorials; and many other useful articles. Though focused on the small academic library, one expects the research in these articles could be applied to other types of libraries as well. Happy reading!
