The Oregon Program Evaluators Network (OPEN) has announced the keynote presenter for their next conference on Sept 19th, 2014. The speaker will be Stephanie Evergreen who writes about presenting data effectively. You can view her website here. I attended the OPEN meeting last year and found it very useful. I learned about cost analysis evaluation and cultural awareness in evaluation design. It was interesting to hear about evaluation from a different perspective than libraries. This is a very affordable professional development organization to join. If you have the chance, I recommend going to the conference or joining the group. The conference will be held in Portland at the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry.
